RAPTOR STOOLS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Raptor Stools LLC stands behind the quality, craftsmanship, and construction of our products. This Limited Lifetime Warranty provides coverage to the original purchaser of a Raptor Stool, subject to the terms, limitations, and exclusions described below.
1. WHO IS COVERED
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the Raptor Stool.
Warranty coverage is non-transferable and does not extend to any subsequent owner, purchaser, recipient, or user of the stool.
The original purchaser must personally submit any warranty claim and may be required to provide proof of purchase, order information, product identification, photographs, or other reasonable documentation necessary to verify warranty eligibility.
If the stool is sold, transferred, gifted, or otherwise permanently transferred to another person or business, this warranty terminates.
2. LIMITED LIFETIME FRAME WARRANTY
Raptor Stools warrants the original structural frame and framework of the stool against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the stool.
For purposes of this warranty, “lifetime” means the period during which the original purchaser continues to own the original Raptor Stool. It does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser or an unlimited useful life of the product.
The Limited Lifetime Frame Warranty applies to failures of the structural frame resulting from a defect in materials or workmanship during normal and intended use.
Examples of potentially covered frame failures may include:
-
Failure of a weld due to defective workmanship
-
Structural cracking or separation caused by a manufacturing defect
-
Failure of a structural frame component resulting from defective material or manufacturing
Coverage will be determined by Raptor Stools after inspection or review of the warranty claim.
3. ONE-YEAR COMPONENT WARRANTY
Components other than the structural frame are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
These components may include, but are not limited to:
-
Casters and wheels
-
Seat assemblies
-
Seat cushions and upholstery
-
Backrest assemblies
-
Bearings, bushings, hardware, fasteners, and adjustment mechanisms
-
Gas cylinders, if equipped
-
Trays, brackets, and other attached components or accessories
These items are subject to wear through normal use and are therefore not covered by the Limited Lifetime Frame Warranty.
4. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or failure resulting from:
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Cosmetic damage
-
Scratches, scuffs, chips, fading, discoloration, or surface blemishes
-
Punctures, cuts, rips, or tears to upholstery or seating surfaces
-
Damage caused by sharp objects, tools, chemicals, solvents, heat, fire, or other external forces
-
Accidents, impacts, drops, collisions, or improper storage
-
Abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
-
Use of the stool in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose
-
Exceeding the stated weight capacity of the stool
-
Unauthorized modifications, alterations, welding, drilling, repairs, or disassembly
-
Damage caused by aftermarket or non-Raptor Stools components
-
Corrosion, environmental exposure, or chemical damage not resulting from a manufacturing defect
-
Damage occurring during transportation or shipping after delivery to the original purchaser
-
Commercial wear or deterioration that occurs through normal repeated use and is not the result of a defect in materials or workmanship
The warranty does not guarantee that the product will remain free from normal signs of use throughout its life.
5. WARRANTY CLAIM REQUIREMENTS
To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must contact Raptor Stools and provide sufficient information to evaluate the claim.
Raptor Stools may require:
-
Original proof of purchase
-
Order number or purchase information
-
Product serial number or identifying information, if applicable
-
Photographs or video of the claimed defect
-
A description of how and when the failure occurred
-
Return of the defective product or component for inspection
Submission of a warranty claim does not automatically establish that the product or component is defective or covered under this warranty.
Raptor Stools reserves the right to inspect and evaluate the product and determine whether the claimed condition resulted from a covered defect.
6. WARRANTY REMEDY
If Raptor Stools determines that a product or component has failed due to a covered defect in materials or workmanship, Raptor Stools will, at its discretion:
-
Repair the defective product or component;
-
Replace the defective component; or
-
Replace the product with the same or a reasonably comparable product if repair or component replacement is not practical.
Replacement components or products may differ cosmetically or may consist of a current equivalent component when the original component is no longer available.
Repair or replacement under this warranty does not restart or extend the original warranty period.
7. SHIPPING AND LABOR
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or specifically authorized by Raptor Stools, the purchaser may be responsible for costs associated with shipping or transporting the product to Raptor Stools for inspection or warranty service.
Raptor Stools must authorize returns before products or components are shipped for warranty evaluation.
Unauthorized shipping, repair, or replacement expenses will not automatically be reimbursed.
8. NON-TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY
This warranty belongs exclusively to the original purchaser.
A person or business that purchased the stool used, received it from another owner, acquired it through resale, or otherwise became the owner after the original purchase is not eligible to make a claim under this warranty.
Warranty claims may not be assigned or transferred to another person or business.
9. LIMITATION OF WARRANTY
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship as specifically described above. It is not an insurance policy and does not cover damage caused by normal use, accidents, misuse, outside forces, or ordinary deterioration of wearable components.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Raptor Stools' responsibility under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement remedies described above.
Some states do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so some of the limitations contained in this warranty may not apply to every purchaser.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
